In order to remain up to date with the important news of the day, our full-time Government Relations Director, Bob Levi, has created a weekly report on the activities of government. This extremely important piece of news needs to reviewed at least once a week. Your careers are at stake. Try to remember that Congress has tremendous control over your life. In light of the immensely huge budgetary deficit that now exists in this country, Congress looks at ways to reduce the impact on the American public. The federal workforce is always at risk to lose some of its hard earned benefits. It is imperative that we all remain vigilant to ensure that when attempts are made to reduce those benefits, we bring pressure on members of Congress to look elsewhere to solve its budgetary dilemmas.
