CANDIDATES FOR NATIONAL PRESIDENT 2010-2011

I hope everyone is aware by now that there are two candidates vying for the national presidency for the years 2010-2011.

As we had in the last election for national president, this election will feature two men who have long histories with NAPUS and a great deal of experience in both their state and national NAPUS offices.

I know both of these men personally, and for me the choice is all but impossible to make at this time. Although Maine does not commit to endorse a candidate for national office until the year of the election, which will be in 2009, I will do everything I can to keep you informed of all the information I receive on both of the candidates.

Maine will commit to endorse a candidate at our state convention in 2009. I know this is a long way off, but please read everything you can about both candidates from now till then to help you make a well-informed decision on the candidate Maine should endorse.

he candidates are Hugh Hager, Postmaster of Lahaska, PA and Bob Rapoza, Postmaster of Honokaa, HI.
The editor from Pennsylvania sent out an interview he conducted, along with the national retiree editor, with
Hugh Hager. I also received a press release from Bob Rapoza recently.

Both of these are available to read by linking on each candidate on the left of your screen.
